| UEFA calls for ban on third party ownership
Following yesterday’s Executive Committee meeting in Lausanne, UEFA have called for third party ownership of footballers to be “prohibited as a matter of principle”. European football’s governing body have also reiterated their support for the fight against match fixing – two key policy areas also covered in SD Europe’s recent position paper, ‘The Heart of the Game: Why Supporters are Vital to Improving Governance in Football’.
