  John Whittingdale tells fans to ‘keep up the pressure’

John Whittingdale, Chair of the Culture, Media and Sport Select Committee, has called for supporters to “keep up the pressure” for reform of football, citing positive noises from government off the back of his committee’s report into football governance reform. He was speaking at the lobby of Parliament organised by Supporters Direct on February 5th. 


  SD Europe meets with Commissioner Vassiliou
Last week Supporters Direct Europe (SD Europe) had a successful meeting with Androulla Vassiliou, the European Commissioner in charge of Education, Culture, Multilingualism, Youth and Sport. A number of topics were discussed, including SD Europe’s continuing work on improving good governance in sport.
