Board appointment and departure
The Trust is delighted to announce a new member of the Trust Board.Paul Mee is a retired civil servant, who has been supporting Palace since the late 50s. He served on Croydon Council from 1986 to 2002; chaired the Leisure Services Committee and moved the 1999 motion of support for the new Trust. A member of both the Palace Independent Supporters’ Association and the Trust since their formation, he was a PISA committee member from 2002 to 2014 before co-option to the Trust.
We also say goodbye to Board member Martin Howell who has stepped down. Martin joined in February 2012 as the Training Ground project was gathering momentum, offering his skills as a Civil Engineer working on a range of projects from single house builds to supermarkets. With the mothballing of the project Martin took the decision to stand down. The Board would like to place on record its thanks to Martin for his help over the past two years and to wish him well in his future career.
