Donations to Bradford Plastic Surgery and Burns Research Unit

12th May, 2015

Last month at the match against Hull City there was a minute’s silence remembering the Bradford City fire and a collection for the Plastic Surgery and Burns Research Unit set up in the wake of this tragedy.

Yesterday Palace fans may have seen the news on the BBC and other outlets of the commemoration of the 30th Anniversary and the ceremonies taking place in Bradford to remember the disaster.

The Crystal Palace Supporters Trust helped organise a collection shortly before the Hull match, and the Premier League committed to double any bucket collection.

The Trust are very grateful to all those Palace  supporters who contributed to the collection. It raised over £400 for the Plastic Surgery and Burns Research Unit whose work now helps in saving and improving lives globally.

A Justgiving page for Crystal Palace supporters was also set up at the time.   This is still open and for those fans who may still wish to contribute please click on the following link:  https://www.justgiving.com/Crystal-Palace-Supporters
