CPST backs “Keep Cov in Cov” campaign
The trust is fully behind a petition calling for a parliamentary investigation into the situation at Coventry City, whose owner has relocated the club from the city to Northampton, 35 miles away.
The petition, set up by supporters’ group Keep Cov in Cov (KCIC), calls for the Department for Culture, Media and Sport Select Committee to conduct an inquiry into the club’s situation as part of their wider work into football governance.
If the petition reaches 100,000 signatures it would have to be considered by parliament.
